Please contact us for current schedules of the following classes. Do you have a group of family or friends that would like to take classes? Contact us, we will schedule classes for small groups (minimum of 3 people).

Beginner Classes:

This is the class for someone that has never done any stained glass work before and wants to have a solid working knowledge of it. In the 6 weeks the beginner classes run we will teach proper tool use and the copper foil method. You will have time to make one suncatcher and possibly a second small project.

*Class fee is payable by cash or cheque to the instructor. Tools and supplies are extra and may be purchased with cash, debit, visa or mastercard, throughout the duration of the classes.

Taste of Stained Glass:

Explore the basic techniques of stained glass work in this two and half hour course. You will make a simple ornament with the copper foil method. All the tools and glass are provided for you to use for that evening. You do not need any prior stained glass experience to take this class.

Introduction to Fusing Workshop:

This class is designed to give you a taste of the fusing world. You will make three 4'' fused tiles, all the glass and supplies are provided for you. Each tile you make will be using a different technique to provide you with a basic working knowledge of fusing styles, as well as learning how to operate a Hot Start Kiln.

Mosiac Stepping Stone Classes:

In this class you will learn how to make a mosaic stepping stone from pieces of glass and concrete. It is not necessary to know how to cut glass as the pieces will be provided for you. This class runs over two evenings and you are provided with a mold of your choice (which you keep at the end of the class) the molds are very durable, you can make stepping stones over and over in it. We also provide the concrete and stucco wire for the stone you make in the class. Please ask the instructor if you would like to learn how to cut glass using patterns for the stepping stones, a separtate class can be arranged.

Mosaic Mirror

In this class you will learn the technique of mosaics. You will make a mosaic mirror (approx. 16”x24”). It is not necessary to know how to cut glass as pieces of glass and all the supplies needed will be provided for you. This class takes two evenings to complete. This class is scheduled when groups of three to six people register.

Glass Etching :

This class is generally done on a drop in basis, but with enough interest we will run it as an evening class. You will learn how to create your own stencil and etch your pattern either on glass or mirror, all the supplies are included. Etchings make a great center piece for stained glass projects.

Intermediate Classes:

This is the class for someone that has already done the beginner class and knows the basics of stained glass work. In this class you can work on the project of your choice in copper foil or lead and we will help you improve your skills. This class is held on a drop in basis during regular store hours, please phone ahead to book a time with us. Evening classes will be scheduled if there are enough people interested.

*To register for any of the above mentioned courses we need your contact information as well as a non-refundable, non-transferable 50% deposit on the class fee (please note some classes must be paid by cash or cheque only) Balance of the class fee is due the first night of classes. All classes are subject to cancellation due to lack of interested or for any unexpected reasons.
